About Me
I am an Associate MFT and Art Therapist passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults overcome trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, and perfectionism. Through a combination of traditional talk therapy, art therapy techniques, and evidence-based interventions, I aim to help clients build resilience, develop coping strategies, and foster a positive self-image. I believe that it is not what happens to you, but how you handle it and harness change that really shapes your life.
As much as I am genuinely warm and loving in my approach, I am also very direct. My clients and I first work to build a strong collaborative alliance. Once that is established, I believe a relationship is built in which I can be straightforward and the client can appreciate the honesty. In turn, I welcome straightforward and honest feedback from clients.
I strive to create a non-judgmental and inclusive environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories, exploring their vulnerabilities, and embracing their strengths. Whether it's navigating the complexities of relationships, coping with traumatic events, or dealing with academic pressures, I aim to provide individualized support and treatment.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (Lic #141401) and am supervised by Dr. Leanne Miller Ph.D, LMFT (Lic #86117)
