Meet Madeline
I am an Associate MFT and Art Therapist passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults overcome trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, and perfectionism. Through a combination of traditional talk therapy, art therapy techniques, and evidence-based interventions, I aim to help clients build resilience, develop coping strategies, and foster a positive self-image. I believe that it is not what happens to you, but how you handle it and harness change that really shapes your life.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family therapist (LIC #141401) and am supervised by Dr. Leanne Miller Ph.D, LMFT (Lic# 86117)

Talk Therapy
Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy, is a collaborative treatment that involves a trained therapist and a client working together to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It can help individuals gain insight into their emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and improve their overall mental well-being. By providing a safe and supportive environment, psychotherapy encourages personal growth and healing, making it a valuable resource for anyone facing difficulties in their life.

Art Therapy
Art therapy is a form of experiential therapy that can help people express their emotions and thoughts and gain insight into their inner workings. Art therapy can be a valuable tool for people struggling with mental or emotional difficulties that are difficult to verbalize or that feel disorganized. It can be used to help people express themselves, cope with stress, increase tolerance, and improve their overall well-being. The use of different media can help build tolerance to change, newness, and lack of control, while combating perfectionism and low self-esteem.
